Key Largo with Toddler

Piggy backing off the Key West thread.

We have to see family in FT Lauderdale in late June. Been there a million times. Blah.

Thinking of tacking on Key Largo for a few days. We will have a 2 year old. We aren’t beach people but looking for pool time, some kid activities for 3-4 days.

Recommendations?

If you can go a little further, Hawk's Cay near marathon might be nice (it is just reopening). it has a giant pirate ship splash area that would be great for an older toddler and you can stay in a place with a kitchen, which is always a plus with young kids.
