I did several searches and haven't found anything?
TIA |
| You know someone. |
| Those are kids from all over the country who won their regional Pitch, Hit, Run competitions. |
| This has got to be the funniest typo? I keep reading the subject line and gigging |
+1 |
| Sorry, googled it and it's not a typo! Thought you meant snag balls. Shag balls isn't a term I've h heard before. My mind is in the gutter |
No, really, you have to win the PHR competition. Check with your little league. They will announce when it is this spring. I am not sure the age groups, but believe everyone under 12 can participate. |
Are you British or something? Shag flies has always meant to catch/chase them in the outfield after a batter hits them. |
Yes only been on the states for a few years. This fanny pack trend is funny for me too... |
Fanny packs went out in 1980 something. |
Not to derail but bum bags are a thing now: https://m.shop.nordstrom.com/sr/fanny-packs |
I will admit that "Shagging Balls" would be a great name for a rock band. |
| Thanks all...I signed him up for the local jr. home run derby contest. I guess if he makes it he'll get to SHAG some balls. |
| No, not British. I am 82 and in the 50’s played girls softball as a kid. That is the term our coaches used during practice. They were not British either. |
And "Sagging Balls" for the aging punk band... |
