| Has anyone done playtime? They have playtime for 2019-2020 applicants for preschool, PreK 3. Thoughts on playtime and the school overall? |

| There are many posts on Browne in this forum. We have been there since ps3 and love it. PS3 with Ms Janet is an absolute must, but after PS4, parents are divided on whether Browne continues to be a good fit so that’s an entirely separate discussion. I’m not sure what you mean by playtime. Are you talking about the interview play date? Admission for preschool is very chill and pretty much everyone gets in unless the child has special needs. |
Play date interview. My twins have a play date end of this month for PreK 3. My county does not start school until Kindergarten so at least we will have that option. |
| Don't waste your money at Browne after PS4. They've lost 50% of their K class this year. |
Why do you think this is? Where do these kids go? (I live in Alexandria close to Browne and am considering Browne for my child for preschool. ) |
Preschool is great. 8 kids of 18 in the K class aren't returning for first grade. A couple moved (in NOVA to get in a better public school zone) but several are left because they do not believe the school is worth the cost. I'm in the latter category. |
