| Looking at a house in the Lane Elementary district- I don't know anything about it... thoughts? 6 on GS, so looks like it would be a good option. Only middle/high it lists is Hayfield Secondary which is grades 7-12... |

My DS is in the Hayfield pyramid too, but at Hayfield Elementary. We have had friends children go to Lane and heard mixed things. Generally this pyramid is fairly mixed. You will hear parents say I would never use x and others that are perfectly happy.
Hayfield for us has been adequate and pretty much a standard FCPS elementary. DS is happy and doing well so we are very reluctant to move him. We are, however, looking at other options for MS and HS. |
Thanks. What are the mixed things you have heard? Just trying to find out more information in general. I understand that Hayfield for MS/HS may not be the best, but for now this will be our 5-7 year plan, if indeed things work out with this house. Does anyone have any info on AAP opportunities at Lane? I have heard AAP goes to Springfield Estates?? |
