30 years from now, will this be a good job? Seems very debatable to me, what with tech, regulation, and licensing reforms

I think CRNAs are going to be utilized more because they can do most of what an anesthesiologist can do and they’re less expensive for employers.

There will always be a need for doctors with advanced anesthesia training. I have a friend who is a cardiac care anesthesiologist and another who is a critical care anesthesiologist and they both do very well but their trainings were long.
