After two years of trying for #2, I am having a chemical pregnancy. Positive test last Saturday (3 days late) but HCG only rose to 36 over the course of three betas. Shady Grove had me stop progesterone. I’ve read some people ovulate a week after! Did your ovulation move, and did you wait for your levels to return to 0 before trying again?

I’m sorry. Have been in this situation and it’s really frustrating.
I could be wrong but I think you need to wait until your HCG goes to zero, get your period and then you would ovulate as you normally do. At least that’s how it was for me. |
I didn’t have a chemical but a mc at 5w4d. Hcg was 6500 day of miscarriage. I ended up ovulating while my hcg was still in the 90’s (3 weeks post first bleeding - confirmed by u/s and bloodtests). So you’ll most likely ovulate right away like normal after your period. The body gets back at it. GL
Thanks, when did you guys start bleeding? My hcg only got up to 36 and that was on Thursday. I thought it would’ve dropped by now.
I had a CP in Dec and after I got my period, my hcg levels were still really high. I figured they'd go back to zero after having passed the pregnancy but nope. It was like this not-so-great icing on the not pregnant cake to say, you have no control over this.
OP here. Betas went from 36 to 166!! Now the RE thinks they may have just tested too early and told me to start the progresterone again immediately. Ultrasound tomorrow to confirm baby is in uterus but they don’t think it’s ectopic.
Also- 43hr doubling time.
