PK3 - Waitlist #12 for CMI, what are our chances?

Anonymous
Hello everyone,

Our PK3 has a waitlist spot #12 for Creative Minds. What are our chances of actually getting her into that school?

And if she does get in, any chances I can have my K go there too (she currently has spot #198)?

I'm not sure I'm going to manage having 2 kids in different school when it comes to drop off and pick up.

I think your younger child has a shot, but the K student is unlikely.

But if you get off wait list for PK3 child, ask the school about liklihood for older DC. You never know.

Thank you! That's what I'm worried about... I'm not sure how I'll manage 2 different drop offs but I guess I'm about to find out.

This would be amazing! I'm worried about having 2 kids in 2 schools.

Agree(another current parent) - think there will be many departures so lists should move more than they have in past years.

Is this something I should worry about? Why would there be many departures?

Yikes! That is concerning...

You are probably right on the cusp. Also, don't forget that your wait list number will go up once kids with PK3 siblings enroll. My guess is that if you do get in, it will be after school starts.

Ditto.. lots of families (and some teachers) leaving this year. I tried to get out too but will probably have to stay due to poor lottery results. It’s not a horrible school (our child loves it) but it is going through major management issues and once it gets through them i think it will be much
M better... get them in now while there is space and when (hopefully) the board makes the necessary changes you will be in an excellent place.

What’s the obsession with this school. Isn’t it Tier 3?

If the younger child gets in, the older child moves to the top of the waiting list.

But behind any other siblings on the wait list already. It really depends on how many slots open at K due to current Pk4 families leaving.
