I googled my name and found a website that has personal details about me: my birthday, my political affiliation, my address, my previous addresses, my income range within $10,000 and my religion.
Apparently, if you pay $6 a month you can get more details such as my email and bankruptcy information. Is there any way to get mylife.com to take down this page? |
| Yes. There is a number on their website to call and cancel your information. They were very helpful |

Wow.
You know OP after reading your posting, all of us are now going to visit that website. Lol. Seriously though.... That really is TMI about an individual to be online. And sadly, as time goes on... Privacy will become obsolete.

| How do they know about income range I wonder? |
| I searched myself and there is nothing on me except for my age and city I live in. |
| They get this information from Facebook. Get off of Facebook - stat! |
But Facebook doesn't know my income. I hate fb! |
I'm PP, read this: https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/talkingtech/2018/03/30/downloaded-all-my-facebook-data-what-learned/471787002/ |
| It must be from facebook. I am not on facebook and I just tried to look myself up on mylife and i don't exist. |
| I'm not sure of the source, I am on FB but don't show on the my life site; my H is also on FB and does have some information on my life, though it's 50% incorrect. |
It probably means he's having an affair. Sorry. |
| They knew very little about me and I suspect part of the reason is that I am not active on social media and I do not share my husbands name. But so creepy. |
Huh? |
|
I just went to my Facebook ad setting and it said:
"Multicultural Affinity: African-American" I'm white Irish-Scottish American Protestant. This also explains why I got a slew of anti-Hillary ads in my FB feed in the week before the Election. Including the infamous "super predator" cartoon ad surreptitiously pushed by Trump campaign through Cambridge Analytica. It was pure propaganda meant to dissuade American blacks from voting. |

This website is a scam. It pulls from something but I doubt it is facebook. It is telling me I have a criminal record to entice me to get the full report on myself lol (I do not). It appears they pull from public records IMO. They have an address on record that I never lived at full time or said I lived at on Facebook but that was an address on my driver's license (my dad's).
No one give them your money. https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/mylifecom-people-search-website-sued-scam/story?id=14335481 https://www.opportunitychecker.com/mylife-com-reviews-is-my-life-legit-or-a-scam/ |
