favorite spas near DC/Shanandoah?

| I have a group of friends coming in for a weekend, and we were thinking of going to a day spa, either right around DC or heading out to Shanandoah or some other pretty area. Any ideas? |

It’s a little far but the Omni Homestead has a nice spa.
In town I would do the Mandarin Oriental for a splurge. I have heard good things about Sugar house Day spa in Alexandria. |
