How early to arrive at BWI - Southwest flight tomorrow at 12:10pm, no checked bags, dropped off

I am flying out of BWI on domestic Southwest tomorrow (Sunday, March 25). I am not checking any bags, and I will be dropped right at the terminal.

What time should I arrive? I rarely go to BWI.

Normally I’d say an hour but I’d allow an extra 15 minutes tomorrow. I travelled yesterday and today from/to DCA and lines were long with spring break travelers. Even the pre check lines were long.

So 11 am arrival at the door should be good?

They had to keep reminding people not to bring bottled water through. How do people not know that? It’s been 11 years since the liquids rules went into effect.

Another vote for 11 AM. There are three security line options for Southwest at BWI- Terminals A,B, or C. No way all 3 will have lines longer than 20 minutes.

That's cutting it close.

The southwest terminal security lines are always long and slow at BWI...and this is spring break (crowded with families who aren't used to TSA and will slow down the lines).

Your flight will likely start boarding at 11:30ish. There's a very real possibility it will take you 30 minutes to get through security. Plan to arrive at 10:30 IMHO.

11 is fine. Even if security takes 30 mins she’s still at the gate at 11:30.
