best electric toothbrush: sonicare or oral b triumph?

Our 7 year old sonicare toothbrushes are on their last legs, so we're trying to decide what to get next. Any suggestions?

I've had them both. Sonicare is a much better brush and does a much better job of getting my teeth clean. It felt weird the first couple of days, but I got used to it.

I am in the same situation. I asked my dentist and for some reason dentists prefer Oral B. But my dentist said either is a great product.

I like the classic Oral-B (round head, not the new oval-ish one) because I find it easier to hit all the necessary surfaces with that smaller brush. When my old one gave out last year, I asked my dentist, who said that either brand was great, so I stuck with what I know - Oral-B (still the round one). I also like Oral-B's extra-gentle brush heads - not sure if that's an option with Sonicare.
