Car rental insurance in Europe?

Any recommendations of 3rd party companies that would insure your rental car in Europe? The car rental company option is very expensive.

Rent through autoeurope.com (very well regarded company), they offer similar rates to what you will get at hertz.com, avis.com, etc, but include basic liability coverage. Then pay with a card with good rental damage coverage- most Visa Signature, Mastercard World, etc have good coverage for damage to the rental car. Then you are good and saved yourself 25 euros/day.
