Why are random replies deleted in the special needs forum?

Is this just my impression or is this really happening and why?

Nasty and b**chy responses are often reported by some of us (and I don't even have special needs children) and get deleted. If you aren't going to be helpful and supportive just find another one of the forums to vent your spleen in.

I reported one reply that was deleted. I don't usually report mean threads in other forums, but kicking people when they're already down is beyond the pale.

The Special Needs and Infertility forums are not places for mean spirited trolling.

The moderator responds swiftly to even a hint of trolling in any of those threads.
