Where to spend one night near Dublin airport?

| Don't say Dublin as we are staying there for several days at the end of our trip, but just found out due to a change in airline itinerary (grrr) we will have a 24 hour layover. Can someone recommend a nice airport hotel with hopefully something for two kids to do or a cute nearby town where we could find a B&B and we might enjoy for part of one day? We leave really early the following day so need to be able to get back to the airport easily. Thanks in advance. |

| Castle Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Malahide looks like it kight be a good fit. Great reviews, Malahide looks like a quaint little town on the water, and a 15 minute taxi ride to DUB. |

| The Grand Hotel, Grove Road, Malahide. Have stayed there twice and hotel is excellent. You can walk to town from hotel. Town very cute and touristy. Beautiful walks along ocean. Very close to airport. You will like. Check out website. Enjoy ?? |

| We spent a night near Dublin airport before flying back after being in the west of Ireland. We stayed at the Hilton Dublin Airport. It's a really nice hotel. It's very close to Malahide, which I would HIGHLY recommend visiting. It's such a gorgeous little town, and there are some castles/estates nearby to explore. There is a Hilton shuttle that takes you to/from the airport. |
