Maui with a group of 7 adults and 6 kids (2-11) - Help

| We don’t know where to stay with such a big group and what to do, etc. Has anyone done Maui with kids? Should we say in a house or at a resort? Any thoughts or activity recommendations? |

This isn't a bad recommendation unless you are going during the winter. Too wavy and rainy. When are you going? Summer here would be great. |

| I think first you need to decide what you want... do you want the amenities of a hotel? Pools, room service, housekeeping, turn down, servers by pool area, gym amd spa on site, restaurants, etc? ... or do you want to have more space but clean your space and either cook your meals/go to restaurants? |

| OP here. We are going early July. Not too sure about the budget. With a big group, what’s your opinion a resort or a private house? We plan on getting a few cars. We have a lot to figure out. |

| We were trying to find a large house for a group with three adults and five kids for late June/early July and looked on VRBO and other sites but didn't have a lot of luck since we weren't willing to spend $1000+/night. Resorts and condos max out at 3 bedrooms. Multiple units within the same condo complex would maybe be a good choice. |
