Picking up on another thread here where some people have been recommending preschools. Would anyone recommend a metro-accessible charter or public school preschool program based on personal experience? And any insight on how tough it is to get a spot through the lottery? TIA. |
appletree in columbia heights is fabulous. the facilities are not great, but don't let that put you off. the leadership, curriculum, teachers are all top notch. they are a block or two down from the CH metro. they serve 3 and 4yos. it's not too hard to get a spot. the wait list moves quite a bit. like 40 to 50 spaces. |
