If the DC council blows this metro funding deal I will never forgive them

Unbelievable to me that they would put it all at risk over $10 million and a new argument that DC gets less benefit from metro than the suburbs do.

Yeah, if Metro doesn't get an infusion of cash, the quality will decline, there will be service cuts, and it won't be safe to ride.

They're just angling for a piece of the $$ action for their friends and supporters in the DC "community."

DC wants to force Metro to hire the politically well-connected 8a contractors who did such a greet job with the Ellington project,
