How do I get a pre-paid debit card?

My DD is going across the country on a class trip and they want her to bring a prepaid debit card. So where do I get it (bank? CVS?), and is it in her name, or what?

Yeah, you can get like a visa card or something at CVS or the grocery store. Just pay attention to the fees, and don't take the one in front -- reach back and take one of the ones near the back b/c thieves will copy the numbers and steal loaded money when activated.

I would go to your bank, they can probably have a reloadable option and one you can use ATMs. Also apple payb comes in handy.

I would get her a regular debit card aka Money Capital One card. Prepaid is too risky.
