No Wilder Endorsement for Deeds

Wilder is always a wild card (pardon the pun) in VA Democrat politics. Interesting that he both declined to endorse Deeds, but also leveled specific criticisms at the same time. Is this a backhanded endorsement for McDonnell?

Wilder is a diva! I don't know enough to say whether it's a backhanded endorsement for McDonnell but over the years my impression is that he wants people to grovel for his endorsement. I think he is more interested in people kissing his ring (or something else) than he is in actually promoting good government.

Harsh, I know, but his lack of endorsement of politicians in his own party is nothing new. And I don't get the impression it's from selectivity so much as it's from wanting the show to be about him.

But I don't have that much information about this -- so I'm happy for someone to convince me otherwise!
