| Any idea or when the NCSL spring boys schedule will be posted? |
| "late March" is all I heard. It would be nice to know what weekend the first game is. |
| 1 hour before the first game |
Their web site could be easier to navigate, but if click on "Calendar" in the upper right corner you'll find the information you are looking for. Schedules posted March 17. 1st game April 7. Here's the link: http://www.ncsl-soccer.com/_calendar |
Useful info, but I wouldn't hold my breath on the 17th. Division structure was listed on their website for a date that was about a week before it actually happened. |
I actually saw the division structure before the promised date. |
| Can anyone explain the NCSL division structure at the u10 and 11 ages, how are teams placed and do the letters mean anything? |
They're not supposed to, and in some years, it's as much "Maryland or close to Maryland" and "Virginia" as it is anything else. WITHIN each division, they'll usually play one club's A team vs. another club's A team, B vs. B, C vs. C. But every now and then, you can detect a pattern. Sometimes, you'll see some one-team clubs (which can be really good or really bad or anywhere in between, and you can't project from their upper age groups) along with some C-teams from bigger clubs. |
| Thanks, and at u12 the division 1 teams are the top teams yes? |
Yes |
| Thank you |
| Schedules posted. Must click either boys or girls. |
I on,y see last fall. |
Click on "Schedule & Results", which shows the Fall schedule and then click on either "Boys" or "Girls", which shows the Spring schedule |
| Why is West Virginia in the younger age brackets with teams 2 hours away?? They should have to be the away team all of the time. |
