Maui- Hyatt or Westin

has anyone been to either or both? considering between the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa and The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali, any input welcome.
I've noticed people recommending the Grand Wailea, the Four Seasons, and the Fairmont. They look lovely- but we can't afford them... |

We stayed at the Maui Westin and it was phenomenal  You have a view of the 2 islands Can’t speak to the others b/c I haven’t stayed there but the Westin was great.

| We have stayed at the Hyatt and the Westin. They are both nice but like the location and beach in front of the Westin a little better. |

to the PP who has been to both, did you find that the rooms in the Hyatt were more modern or spacious than the Westin? |

| Maui resident here. No difference in the beach! The beach is the exact same at both spots. Sheraton down the beach is the only area with a nicer spot. As for hotel's, Hyatt is much nicer not to mention the pool and grounds area. If you have a choice go with the Hyatt. |
