Do you use one? How difficult is it to work while walking? What kind of work do you do? Did your employer pay for it or you?
Has it made a difference in your health? Fitness? |

My past couple workplaces have had them. I don't find it difficult to work while walking - they both maxed out at 2 mph. I mostly do emails or review docs.
Not sure if it helps with my health/fitness but it helps me hit StepBet goals... |
| I've been using one for years. I have a hard time reading detailed documents that are printed out since I'm moving, but find that I'm better/more efficient at drafting and reviewing while I'm walking. According to my fitbit, it burns about 500 extra calories a day, which has kept me from the middle-aged spread I'm fighting. Since you aren't really sweating and getting your heart rate very high, it doesn't translate to the ability to run a 5K, at least for me. |
