Why does CNN keep referring to Stormy Daniels as a Porn Star?

I realize that's what she is, but it doesn't really seem fitting for a respectable news organization to use that phrase. Most other news outlets refer to her as an Adult Actress. It seems as if CNN is taking great pleasure at being able to throw around that term.

Any actress over 21 is an adult actress. Stormy Daniels is a porn star. Most outlets aren’t calling her an adult actress, BTW.

It doesn’t really seem fitting for the president of the United States to bang porn stars and take great pleasure at being spanked by her with a magazine featuring his kids on the cover. I just put "porn star" into google news search. Practically everyone is using the term. I see papers in Houston, Laredo, St. Louis, NY, Orlando. USA Today. The list goes on and on.

When I go to Breitbart, the first page has "porn star" on it. Of course the article is about how CNN is supposedly complaining that Breitbart is not giving coverage to the scandal.
