Why does CNN keep referring to Stormy Daniels as a Porn Star?

Or an actor? Yes, of course. It's acting. You don't think what you're watching is real, do you?

All great words for Donald "Grab 'em by the” Trump!

And the types of women who act today the way whores used to be described. Pass Around Patty type girls.

Like Donald, yes! At least 100 extramarital affairs and how many sexual assault victims did he leave? He's a real sloot.

Never said otherwise, but we keep hearing that we shouldn't be "judgy" of women who act like sluts. Can't have it both ways. Either the behavior is immoral and slutty, or it's not.

I think we can focus on the whorish piece of trash squatting in the White House, humiliating his wife and child and degrading the office and nation, and leave his APs and victims' sexual histories, real or imagined, out of it.

As they say, "It takes two to tango." His porn star affair partner is responsible for her own slutty behavior. Whorish. slutty behavior can be shown by both men and women.

I do not think she cares, nor do her fans. Obviously Trump and his wife felt differently. Not sure if his supporters care, but obviously Trump paid to keep it a secret before the election, so I guess he thought they would care.

I'm quite sure she doesn't care, or she wouldn't be involved in that kind of "career." Men like Trump and Bill Clinton live their lives doing whatever they want because they don't really care either.

Stop with Bill Clinton! He left office 18 years ago and the only sleaze balls we must deal with now are Enormous Rumpus send all his fawning farts.

Same type of men. Get over it, yourself.

Depends on your definition of real, I guess

What does Fox call her?

You mean no pizza delivery guy has accidentally walked in on his girlfriend and his sister getting it on?

My life is a lie

But "porn star" is really kind of a slang term.

Oh yes, this right-honourable profession must be spoken of in only the most venerable terms!!!

Jennifer Lawrence is an “adult actress.” Sigourney Weaver is an “adult actress.” Stormy Daniels is a star of pornographic movies. Who was paid hush money by the President of the United States to keep quiet about having sex with him while he was married to his wife Melania, who had just given birth to his son. There really is zero need to tiptoe around the labels. I mean, they could call her a “whore” since that’s also what she is. But really, soft-pedaling it isn’t appropriate.

Why is it that just acting in a pornographic movie makes one a "star". Actors in regular films don't earn that title so easily.

Lots and lots of actors in pornos are not stars. But being on the cover of a mass circulation magazine will give one that status.

That's very likely true, but she is what she is. Not an actress.

Or more literally she is a star of pornographic movies. Shorter to just say porn star.

I think referring to what she does with euphemisms would disrespectful.

She is (according to news accounts) a star. That's great.

She happens to be a star because she appears in porn films. Porn is legal, and lots of people like it. Why use a euphemism?

Because she's actually a porn star?

I think she’s a star because she headlined porn films. You’re not a star if you just appear in them.

And I still want to know what Fox calls her. Or are they not covering this story?

I prefer the phrase that NPR uses "Ex-Adult Movie Actress"

which emphasizes that she no longer makes adult movies. But it would be even more accurate now to say that she is a "businesswoman in the adult film industry".

"Ex-adult movie actress" sounds to me like a movie actress who used to be an adult.

Is she really a porn STAR? I had never even heard of her before this Trump stuff. Though to be honest, I tend to prefer amateur porn.
