Or an actor? Yes, of course. It's acting. You don't think what you're watching is real, do you? |
Same type of men. Get over it, yourself. |
Depends on your definition of real, I guess |
What does Fox call her? |
You mean no pizza delivery guy has accidentally walked in on his girlfriend and his sister getting it on? My life is a lie |
Oh yes, this right-honourable profession must be spoken of in only the most venerable terms!!! |
Lots and lots of actors in pornos are not stars. But being on the cover of a mass circulation magazine will give one that status. |
Or more literally she is a star of pornographic movies. Shorter to just say porn star. |
I think referring to what she does with euphemisms would disrespectful. She is (according to news accounts) a star. That's great. She happens to be a star because she appears in porn films. Porn is legal, and lots of people like it. Why use a euphemism? |
Because she's actually a porn star? |
I think she’s a star because she headlined porn films. You’re not a star if you just appear in them. And I still want to know what Fox calls her. Or are they not covering this story? |
I prefer the phrase that NPR uses "Ex-Adult Movie Actress"
which emphasizes that she no longer makes adult movies. But it would be even more accurate now to say that she is a "businesswoman in the adult film industry". |
"Ex-adult movie actress" sounds to me like a movie actress who used to be an adult. |
Is she really a porn STAR? I had never even heard of her before this Trump stuff. Though to be honest, I tend to prefer amateur porn. |
