I'm getting pretty excited. (March 27 8 pm)

But I ask myself, when I watch the trailer or interviews with the cast, why do I actually love these people as much as I do? Because, I do.

I'm as liberal as they come but I'm really looking forward to the wry, no shit humor from a low-middle class family this will bring. (Don't mention the Duck Dynasty clan to me ever - they're just trash).

It never occurred to me that liberals might not relate to Roseanne, in fact I would have assumed the opposite. I too am pretty far left and this is one of my favorite shows all time.

Normally I wouldn't have mentioned it but the entertainment sphere has made a big deal about Roseanne being the only lead character officially being a part of 'MAGA'.

I found her gross and annoying when she was first on the air. She seemed more like a female Archie bunker in all but politics.

Personally I'm excited for Sara Gilbert (Darlene!). I haven't seen the show in over 15? years and she looks EXACTLY as I remember her. Same mannerisms, same frame, same sense of humor. It was like a kick in the stomach when she had that kitchen scene with her daughter.

Both she and Lecy are actually good actresses. I'm interested to see how DJ does...

Yeah, the kid who played DJ was always the weak link on the show in terms of acting. The first couple of seasons it seemed like it might just be because he was so young but he just seemed to get worse & worse as the seasons went on (or maybe his lack of talent just became more apparent as he got older & no longer had the cute little kid factor to distract from it?).

Why do you have to qualify that your looking forward to it by saying "you,re a liberal" The show has always put forth very liberal views.

I think the PP mentioned that because Roseanne is a Trump supporter in real life & Roseanne Conner is supposed to be a Trump supporter in the revival (Jackie isn't, however; not sure about Dan & each of the grown kids).

I really hope they don't make Darlene a Trump supporter just because it would be completely out of character for her. I could definitely see Dan, DJ &/or Becky voting for Trump, though, & if they bring back Crystal, she should definitely be a Trump supporter!
