MD 6th Cong District Race

Just starting to pay attention to this. What do I need to know about the candidates? Would love thoughts on any of them, both R and D.

I only know Aruna Miller and Roger Manno. She’s a state delegate and he’s a state senator. I like both but I like Aruna Miller better. She’s very responsive to constituent concerns.

David Trone is the total wine millionaire whonran for the 8th district last round and lost to Jamie Raskin. He still lives in the 8th district by the way. Not the 6th. I personally don’t like millionaire who try to buy a seat.

Not this year. It'd probably be the first to fall in a wave R election -- but if Delaney could survive 2014 (and I think someone with a base in the district could've beaten him), the D has to be favored. I think far west Maryland's becoming more R is balanced out by Frederick City becoming more D.

How much does a congressional seat cost? He is trying to buy this seat. He has enough money to move into the the 6th District but he will need to leave the country club life of Avenel

Yep, and only won due to the district being gerrymandered away from Roscoe Bartlett.
