Architects - AutoCAD

About 5-10 years ago I used AutoCAD frequently but with my most recent job I have lost those skills due to lack of use.

I would like to relearn it so that I can once again be proficient. Any tips or advice as to how hard this will be? I know that the newest software is a totally different platform. I do have access to Lynda (tutorial).

Have you looked for a course in the area? I took a 3 month course in San Francisco. I know that GW has courses too and you can audit.

I think there are probably many other options.

Are you in Maryland? I took a non credit class at Montgomery County Community College and it was excellent. They also have Revit

My husband is an architect and they are almost exclusively Revit these days. I would try to refresh my autocad memory but get up to speed on Revit or other BIM products.

This is a good idea. I plan to attack Revit too, but want to revisit AutoCAD first.

I have access to the software.
