| Not Chaz. Chad is another option. I prefer Charles to all of its nicknames, though. My husband is a Charles and has always gone by Charles. |

| No nickname. Charles and James are both great names and neither needs a nickname. |

James sounds nice on it’s own. Charles does NOT roll off the tongue easy and sounds awkward and formal. I like Charlie best. |
