Graduate certificate in human resources

Anonymous
My boss advised me to look into a graduate certificate in Human Resources. She said it would help my career, and my company is offering to offset some tuition as well (but not 100%). I have a small child, so I would ideally like to do this online if possible. When researching, I am finding a ton of options and sort of overwhelmed. My boss isn’t helpful with which program to do, she got her degree years ago before online coursework was a thing. And for the purposes of this job it doesn’t really matter the quality of the program, but I think it would matter in future positions. Especially since I will be paying for at least some f it.

Anyone have any advice? Where to find reviews/rankings? Or recommendations? TIA.

No, just an undergrad degree unrelated to my current field.

Not sure if she is set on it being a graduate certificate, but there are also SHRM certifications. I'm doing prep work now for taking the SHRM-CP exam this spring. It's another well-regarded cert in the HR field.

This. Look into SHRM.

Check out AU’s HR Analytics certificate. It is online and affiliated with SHRM.
