How to get GBRS for K and 1st grade ?

Should I just send an email to the AART teacher at the end of first grade?

You won’t get one. It is done as part of the screening process for Level 4 services. Only grade 2-6 students get one if they are being considered either because of test scores or because of parent referral.

Please stop with the sad face. Not necessary. There’s nothing to catch up on. Are your kids happy and learning and enjoying positive relationships with peers? That’s all you need to be focused on.

DP. I wonder if some schools do GBRS without commentary for K and 1 to identify kids for Level II. I don't know.

Every child has a GBRS for K and 1, it just doesn't have commentary. Call the AART and ask her. I asked at the END of the year, so June. If your child is in 2nd then you can ask now. If your child is in 1st, wait until June for the 1st grade one but you can get the K one now.

@12:02. I am sorry you are wrong. Many schools have GBRS without a commentary for kids in K and 1 too. I know my kids GBRS from K.
