We are heading out of BWI this afternoon for the first time in years. We are planning to park our car for a few days. What is the best place to park? Is long-term parking lot super far away from the terminal? Someone mentioned to us that some of the private lots are cheaper and more convenient; does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks! |
I would do private lot or hourly garage (24 a day). The buses to any of the BWI managed lots are unreliable. |
Thank you! Is there a private lot you’d recommend? |
| Usually use one of the Fast Park Lots they have two |
| If it's just for a few days we do hourly. It's worth the extra money to us to not deal with the shuttle bus. |
| Parking Spot worked well for us. We used PreFlight Parking with poor service the last 2 times--they have been bought out though and I don't know the current name. |
| Never had a problem with long term airport parking. Sometimes we have to wait awhile for busses to fill up at the private lots too |
| I like Econo Park Express, they are further away but the shuttles run on a frequent loop, they are very affordable (I think like $6 and change per day with an online coupon) and they often have Groupons available. |
+1 |
| I've never had an issue with BWI long term parking. $8/day. Shuttles run pretty frequently actually. I don't know what you heard... |

I do BWI express lot (across from Daily). Plenty of busses and they pick you up and drop you right at your car.
When I recently flew thru there there were a ton of long term busses coming around. Don't overpay for the hourly garage. That's crazy!!! |
When you arrive late it can be a nightmare. I have had two absolutely miserable experiences. One time waited over an hour for bus and then on the bus for almost an hour. Not worth the risk |
