New Job Title Suggestions?

Anonymous
I have an opportunity to get a title change to Director, and my boss has asked for some ideas.

The problem is that I have several roles that are very diverse: Assistant Corporate Secretary, Investor Relations Officer, Small Business Liaison Officer. I also manage the website, write all press releases, and manage all media inquiries. All of my roles are externally facing, except for Assistant Corp. Secretary, which is Board facing.

For my SBLO role, I speak with small businesses who would like to team with us or serve as a vendor. I work in federal contracting, so this is an industry specific role. I don't think it needs to be part of my official title.

Would any of the following work? Any other ideas?

• Director of Corporate Communications
• Director of Public Affairs
• Public Information Director
• External Communications Manager
• Director of Strategic Communication

Make sure that "Director" is first in the title you select. "Public Affairs" sounds too much like lobbying (even though that normally would be stated as "Government Relations").

I'd opt for Director of Strategic Communications.

I like Director of Strategic Communications too for what you've described
