Which has the best compact SUVs?

We really like our Kia Niro. The fuel efficiency is awesome and the car has lots of bells and whistles.

Subaru for the four-wheel-drive, Toyota for the reliability, and Mazda for the fun. You choose what is most important to you.

We've been very pleased with our Subaru Forester.

We're a Honda family. Our daughter bought the HRV and is very happy with it as a small SUV. The CRV is another option if you need it bigger.

Mazda for the gas mileage

Love my RAV4 and so does everyone I know.

Suburu is pretty good with reliability. Personally I would never buy anything except a Toyota. Drove my previous 2 Camrys to 300k miles, and now working on the third .

We love our two Outbacks.

I have a Toyota and a Mazda. The Toyota is 12 years old and has never needed much in the way of repair, the Mazda in its short 7 year existence has needed many more.

I've heard good things about Subaru.

One thing to look at: the seats. Mazda seats do not fit me. I am 6'2" and have a long torso with broad shoulders. The seats back pushes my shoulder up and in. This is me.

I find Honda's, Toyotas, Nissans, and Subarus (which I have two of) fine.

If I was buying a true smaller SUV (rather than a car with AWD), I would probably look at the Nissan Rogue (based on car rentals).

Subaru cars generally, are better than Toyotas and Mazdas. I have a Toyota but wish I had a Subaru.

Every Mazda I know has lasted forever. If Toyota is more reliable, then it's truly a great car. I have Mazda3 and it has been a great car 20 years old and 10 to go probably.
I'd like Subaru Crosstrek if we stay in the city or Outback if we moved to Suburbs.
Did not like Rav4. Too high for me. Hope Crosstrek is perfect height.

My Outback is nicer than my Camry, but the Camry will outlive the Subaru.

Love my outback. Drive Toyota’s before.
