| No really. I cannot figure it out. It doesn’t happen with anyone else. I’ve tried every trick I can think of. I never made a rule (for anything email related). I cannot get gmail to believe me that he’s not trash! Can anyone help?! |
| Google knows all! |
| by rule do you mean filter? you must have a filter set somewhere or did you block his email address inadvertently/ |
I have no filters or blocks of any kind set up. Other than DH, Gmail does a good job of selecting what goes to trash. DH is a VIP in my contacts (and I think it carries to Gmail). |
| Does he forward you emails that look like spam? |
Most of his emails do forward me things but nothing paritilarly spamlike. And many are very similar to things others forward to me regularly. But his 100% go to trash. |
| Trash or spam? |
| What is his email address? Does it look like something that could be spam? Gmail? A business? College? Or did he set up something funny with a forwarding address? |
It goes to my trash folder — the same place my spam goes to. He has a regular email like tsmith@kpmg.com. But same thing happens if he forwards something from his mostly junky personal gmail account. |
| Same thing happens to me from 2-3 people. Yikes. |
| Same thing happens to me with my sister, all her emails go to trash, there must be a procedure? |
|
First of all - I hope it's not a metaphor!
Second of all - go into the Trash folder, click the "x" on the "trash" label. Keep doing that, and eventually Gmail should learn you want to see his emails. You can also set up a filter saying emails from his account should go into your inbox. |
| It’s time to get a different husband. |
| If he's not using Gmail, then that email or the company has alot of protective this/that which throws it into trash. Call the help desk. |
