How are Watkins families feeling lately?

| We are at 2R Young but are considering leaving and returning to our inbound school, Watkins. Our child would be entering 1st grade. Are the current K families planning to continue to Watkins? How is it going in the upper grades? If we move our child, we would prefer to stick it out long term rather than move again. |

That is my issue too, it is clear the F over there. How do you feel about middle school there vs S-H? |

| Watkins family here with multiple kids. Generally pleased - teachers range from adequate to great, with more of the latter. I think that retention is increasing every year, but there's still a steady dropoff, which means that the academic rigor also drops off at older grades. Still, it's a good improvement from what people said the older grader were like 3-4 years ago, and at the rate things are going, the 4th/5th grade your current kindergartner will be in should be notably better than it is today. |
