Doesn't this constitute a fraud on the court and his lawyers can, and should, be facing serious consequences?

This seems pretty serious fraud that Trump is perpetrating. This is not like stuffing a contractor or supplier with accusations of poor or incompetent service.

To be fair, the whole idea of "laws" and "money" are a social construct, so yes, there is no doubt that the people in power (billionaires who control the money and politicians who write the laws) manipulate to their favor. the question is, how do the rest of us try to reign it in so we aren't totally screwed by the system? At least the democrats try to use the construct to help people, which is more than the GOP can say.

A shocking number of Trumps lawyers have been disciplined by the bar, disbarred, sent to jail and/or had to pay huge fines (John Eastmen, Michael Cohen, Sydney Powell, Guiliani, and on and on). As a lawyer, it shocks that anyone would risk their freedom and law license to represent this fool.

But yes, his lawyers should be servely sanctioned for this crap. And Trump should be required to put up the bond himself, since no one else will do it. Let them seize assets.

That’s because she’s not an idiot. Lawyer here and no way, no how would I have signed that. I worked hard for my law license. I’m not surrendering to become the latest in a long line of lawyers whose lives and careers were destroyed by Trump.
