Sorry if this question was answered elsewhere, but I'm gearing up to try Clomid with timed intercourse next cycle, which unfortunately coincides with a lot of work travel for my husband! I typically ovulate on cd16 -- my husband will be here on cd13-15 but is traveling before and after. Wondering if I should the Clomid skip this month. Does Clomid typically keep your day of ovulation the same or make it earlier or later?
Thanks in advance! |
I used clomid once with an IUI (the switched to letrozole after my lining was too thin with clomid) but with two IUIs, I ovulated day 14 and the third day 16 when I normally ovulate around day 17. So long answer short- for me, it sped up ovulation
I took letrozole, not Clomid, but with a trigger shot to force ovulation at the right time. (I had an issue with very late ovulation.) If you are doing timed intercourse, a trigger shot could be helpful?
It delayed my ovulation by a few days but...I always ovulated exactly 7 days from the last pill so for planning purposes this was great
I ovulated earlier than normal but that's because I was always later than average. I would ask about including a trigger.
