| Kid going on school trip this week and needs euros. My bank can't get them in time. Any ideas? Thanks! |
These guys at Metro Center seem to get much better reviews than Travelex. https://www.yelp.com/biz/treasure-trove-foreign-currency-exchange-washington?osq=currency+exchange |

Not quite in NW (by 2 blocks), but there is a currency exchange at Union Station.
|
| If you ask your bank to order them today, they should be in by tomorrow. |
| Can't you have the kid take out euros using an ATM card when they get there? |
| Is there a reason you can't give your kid an ATM card to withdraw in country ? Cheaper and more convenient and potentially safer than carrying around cash. |
|
My kid has never used an ATM card, so not sure I want him to start with that now, and he is supposed to have the euros on him in advance.
Thank you all for the thoughts -- will try that place in metro center. |

Dulles should have them at the airport

On King St. in Alexandria If you're a AAA member I've also gotten currency/currency cards at their retail outlets. |
| I've used the Treasure Trove at Metro Ctr before, as another person posted. I'd go there again--no issues. |
| I called Treasure Trove and it sounds perfect. Thank you! |

Westfield Mongomery Mall has a currency place outside Macy's home store.
