MCPS kindergarten registration

When is kindergarten registration for MCPS? My child will go to brookhaven.

In April/May. Different schools have it on different days. We just finalized our dates—call the office and ask if theirs has been finalized and if there is a packet that can be mailed (or picked up). Some schools send the paperwork in advance, others have you complete everything in person.

It looks like the official info from MCPS as a whole isn’t available yet, but the individual schools might have their own info, or at least an idea of when they will.

Ours is the 2nd week of March, so definitely call and ask.

Or check your school's website. My kids' school (not Brookhaven) had a date at which kindergarten enrollment packets were available (I think it was February). Orientation for my kids' school is in April.
