| I have PCOS and my last period was almost a year ago. For the past few weeks, I have had morning sickness and other pregnancy symptoms. I haven't tested because I don't want to get my hopes up. It seems unlikely that an embryo would attach to such an old lining, right? |

I don't know how likely it is, but it's definitely possible. My understanding was that uterine lining doesn't get "old," it just changes in response to hormones, but I don't really know.
It's honestly shocking to me that you would have symptoms for weeks without testing. Go test! Your hopes will be up for what, 30 seconds while you pee? |
| It's dumb to try to guess when there's a test that will give you an easy answer. |
+1 Also, of course you can get pregnant. There is an easy answer to this question. |
| OP, any updates? As someone who doesn't get her period I'd say no b/c my body isn't releasing an egg, so I can't get pregnant but that's me. I don't know enough about PCOS to say if its possible. |
| Yes you can. Go get a test. |
| I haven't gone a year without a period, but 5-6 months. I got pregnant soon after. |
| Yes, you absolutely can. You can ovulate and conceive and never get your period. |
| Yes of course you can. I got pregnant (on purpose) while breastfeeding. I hadn't had a period in 2 years. |
