| DH is on a business trip to Europe. I Face Timed him Saturday and discovered he was on a ski slope! WTF? I'm here at home alone with nothing to do and he's having a grand time! |
| Good for him. |
| If I was in Europe I'd be skiing, too! Sounds like a great time. He can sit around moping with "nothing to do" when he gets home - let him have some fun. |
| Well, it's a lot better than some of the other alternatives you may have tuned-in on his doing... |
|
You should divorce him, obviously. How dare he try to enjoy himself. His sole purpose for being should be to please you and keep you from boredom.
Amirite? |
lulz |
| Ah yes, the ole "I'm a boring person, you should be one too" mentality... |
|
Jealous?
When in Rome... |
| I would be very happy for him. |
| Well, then hop on a plane and go skiing too. |
| If you're home with nothing to do, that's your problem. Find something interesting to do. |
Should he have flown home for the weekend? Come on, OP. You can't be this stupid. |
| #FakeNews. Why are you posting this with outrage 6 days later? |
Nothing to do? This is DC. Have an affair! |
+1 I work in Europe regularly for a month at a time and don’t fly home for weekends. My company isn’t going to pay for 6 extra international flights when I can just stay for a month straight. I take a train to another country (on my own dime/per diem) and explore, go to sporting events, etc. In the US I sometime stay over weekends if I have Friday and Monday meetings in the same location. I have 3 customers in Denver that I’ve taken skiing, skeet shooting, golfing, baseball games, brewery tours. |
