Nanny share?
I stayed home for awhile and then worked night time opposite of my husband's hours. Never had to worry about not having daycare, nanny or staying home with a sick kid. One of us was always home.

You don't get decent childcare for cheap, unless a parent or other family member is willing to make the sacrifice that it takes to do the hard work.

In home centers are usually the cheapest option. We loved ours.
