High school Specialty programs: When do the results come back?

| I was wondering if anyone has insight into when the High School specialty results are coming to students/families? Liike most we are anxiously waiting for the results to start planning on next school year and make the necessary and difficult choice of public vs. private. |

| I just looked in my files for my child's letter from last year. It was dated February 27. |

| Yes, science and tech at Roosevelt, as have her older siblings. |

I don't remember the cut off composite score but this link shows the cut off scores for up to 2014, which was 339.

| Don't worry, (s)he should get accepted if they have good grades (3.5 GPA+) and got a good PSAT score which you can check on CollegeBoard ever since January so you should get the general idea by now. |

| You are right that I shouldn’t worry. We are blessed that my child has 4.0+ GPA and scored 98 Percentile on the PSAT. We got the PSAT from Collegeboard mid December. This makes the child’s assumed composite score (based on my understanding of the formula) well above the cut off for 2014. I agree that the child should get in, but wanted to compare the child’s assumed composite score to the 2017 scores and wanted to check this task off my list. Good to know that there are only a few more weeks to go. |

| A good friend told me that the notification letters will go out on Wednesday and schools will also be notified. Apparently, they’ve had some issues (whatever that means). |

| I communicated with the testing office yesterday. The supervisor said he "hopes" to send out letters by Friday. |

Thats what we were told too. And probably will get the letter by March 1st or 2 week!

| Okay...so for the letters to be received by March 1st or 2nd that means the letters will/should go out on Wednesday (28th) as the "good friend" stated earlier. Lets hope that is true! This is a much longer process than I thought it would be. |

| For those interested, Bowie High Summit Program just announced they will post results on Friday, March 2 by email to parents. |
