Go to the gym first. When you are done with you work out, you may proceed to going home, opening up a bottle of wine, and doing cheese and crackers.

If this is just a Friday/today thing, go home! But if it's an every day thing, you KNOW you're gonna feel better after, and you can let traffic die down, and you'll feel really accomplished. (FWIW, I'm not working out after work today).

Because no one ever said "I totally regret going to the gym"!

Go...you will feel great after. And you can still open the wine and have cheese and crackers later.

Consider yourself lucky that you can go work out! I have to feed my kids and be mommy.

Are you saying you're unlucky because you had kids? Weird.

Dp. She's pointing out the op is lucky she has the option -irrespective of motherhood- to work out after work.

Because working out will boost your immunity during flu season and cushion your hangover.

Because you care about your body and health.

Unfortunately, many of the best things is life -- great kids, nice body, health, wealth are achieved through mundane, boring, and somewhat repetitive action over and over again. There is no secret gimmick or magic formula. Beauty is work and drudgery 90% of the time, and if you don't make money off of it, you can let yourself go without serious consequence. Perhaps[s, your husband won't be as attracted to you, but he is not getting any younger either.

At the end of the day, no one on DCUM cares if you work out or sip wine in the evening. It's your life.
