Hello,
I need to get a new dishwasher ASAP. Where is a good place to get one? Thanks. |
Where do you live?
I have found the Sears Appliance store in Tenleytown very helpful. I purchased a new refrig on a Sunday and they had it delivered the next Wednesday. I was very satisfied with the delivery service they offered. |
Thanks for the info. I live in McLean. |
I have always had good luck with applianceland, locations in Rockville and Fairfax (last time I checked). I am an amateur house flipper and have had to buy full appliance suites for 4 houses in the last 10 years, and in shopping around, their prices and service are pretty competitive--they do the same price matching as big stores, but it's nice to deal with a small store that doesn't put you through endless voicemail, etc. The downside, if you are looking for top end appliances (Miele, Asko, Bosch) is that I don't think they sell those brands. For those brands (and Sub Zero, Wolf, etc) I suck it up and go to Bray and Scarff (more expensive). |
We buy most of our appliance from Lowes. You can get 6m no interest on their credit card (even with an existing account; we just always ask). Also, you can negotiate prices. We wanted a really nice dishwasher that was already 10% off and we asked for another 10% if we picked it up that night ourselves. They asked the manager and he just did it. It was right before closing so I don't know if that made a difference.

M and M appliance in the district. They will meet/beat prices and deliver quickly. |
I bought off an internet-only place and lived to regret it. I would go with somewhere like sears that can deal with any problems that may arise. |
