When your DH travels for work, does he provide you with his itinerary?

Airline, flights, hotel etc? Just curious.

Yes I give a copy to my wife.

Generally. I don’t get his flight numbers or anything like that. I usually know his hotel and a general idea of what he’s doing but I don’t feel the need to know his every move.

The flight info, yes. Probably not the hotel info, since he has a cell phone and I can just talk right to him.

Then in general I know if he's going to be in meetings all day, or part of the day, or out late with clients or doing some sightseeing because he has free time. But he doesn't write it down, we just talk or text during the day.

I know what flights he's on and hotel he's staying at. I don't know his daily schedule but we'll talk at least once a day and text more often. Same for him when I travel -- we need to know whether the other person landed safely and where to find them, but I don't have the slightest interest in the topic of a morning meeting or names of lunch companions.

I wouldn't think that a spouse failing to volunteer this information (flights/hotels) would be too strange -- a lot of us compartmentalize work and home life and might not think to forward on details from an admin vis a vis flight numbers. I would think that a spouse refusing to provide these details when asked was beyond bizarre.

I’m the DW and I usually don’t provide details. No reason other than I have a bunch of other stuff to do so it’s not on my priority list. We text so we are regularly in contact.

I'm DH and I travel 5-10x per year. I tell her dates and times I'll leave and arrive, and the city, but that's about it. She's never asked for more since we just text each other while I'm on my trip, but I'm happy to provide it if she were to ask.

Flight usually. Hotel, sometimes if I know he's staying in his regular place, but generally no.

I should clarify that if I ask, of course he sends it to me. But generally I don't feel I need to know exact details.

Nope never. I guess if I wanted to know I would look on his United account or his hotels.com where he normally books hotels. He just tells me he'll be home Friday at 7pm. He travels over 100k miles a year.

No but a GPS chip is sewn in all his bags.

I'm a DW who travels and my travel calendar automatically syncs with my husband's so he knows he needs to do daycare pickup, etc. He doesn't see the daily details of my work calendar, but does see flights, hotels, car reservations because that is the info he needs and the way the mechanism I use to share it works.

Yup. He posts the airline info in our shared google calendar (so I can look up the flights if it's late). He tells me the hotel but doesn't send the reservation. We talk all the time and he travels for weekends too. I do the same and I used to travel extensively before the baby. He also texts me when he lands wherever he is and when he arrives st the hotel if it's a long drive. It's a safety thing and not a must check in with wife thing.

I travel for work a few times per year, husband doesn't. I try to remember to send him flight itinerary for his planning purposes, but that's it. We facetime in the evenings before our young kid goes to bed, so we're in contact usually once per day when I travel, that's it (meetings all day and sometimes into the evening).

I usually get the flight info, but not the hotel. Not sure why. I never ask for amy info and sometimes I don't get anything but his word.
