if you had a choice what would you do??

I have an 11 month old and I work out of a relatives home. If you had a choice what would you do sign your son up for a daycare or hire a lady to come take care of him in the basement where you work? In a way my thought was that I wanted him to interact with other kids his age, but my DH's opinion is that he is too young for that to matter and if thats what I want we can sign him up for classes at Gymboree. But that he would rather our son be close to me, then in a daycare, atleast until he turns 2 or 3.

What would you do??

I'd put him in a daycare. Your husband might be surprised at how much 11 month olds interact with kids and they with him. Our kids are with an in-home provider. The older kids adore the smaller ones and the smaller ones love watching and interacting with the older ones. If it were me, I would have problems focusing on my work while my child was in the same building. As much as I try not to, my ears are always attuned to the kids when we're in the same house.

i will send my child to a daycare center. He will have more fun and you will see, he will learn more by interacting with other children!
