Toyota Rav4 v Subaru Crosstrek?

Anonymous
Any thoughts on these? I've driven a Rav and really liked it. Next up is Crosstrek.

I have the Rav4, I love it (honeymoon phase right now). We considered a Subaru but I don't really feel like we do enough outdoorsy stuff to be Subaru owners (only kind of kidding) and between the two of us we had a marked preference for either a Honda or a Toyota. Liked the Rav4 better than the CRV, so here we are. People who have Subarus absolutely love them though.

Probably going to end up with a good car either way.

If you are a lesbian, the subaru, if not the toyota.

We were deciding between the 2 and went to RAV-4 bc of reliability and it was had more storage capacity than crosstrek. Crosstrek is cuter imho

I own a Rav4, but my husband has a Subaru. I think the Subaru is too "punchy". I am loving my RAV-4. Not too flashy, not too low end (I got the hybrid, which I am totally loving)

I have a cross trek and it has been great for commuting and weekend activities with two kids and a big dog.

Toyota owns 25% of Subaru.

I did not Rav4. It was too high up for me. Haven't has the chance to drive Crosstrek. Hope it's much lower.

We hemmed and hawed between both too. We went with the RAV-4. Partly because we wanted it to be higher up to avoid snow (we bought in summer 2016 but with a snowy winter in recent memory)and because we plan to move north before the end of the car’s life. It is also a bit bigger and our two are incollege and need oreroom for the transport to and fro. Plus, it fits the four of us better.

I still like the CrossTrek. I don’t think you can go wrong either way. We may get it when we need to replace our 11 year old Prius.
