[MD] B'nai mitzvah project & Service Learning Hours

Have any of your children successfully gotten service learning hour credit for work they did for a b'nai mitzvah project or am I being too entitled to even think that way?

It's not a requirement for our DS bar mitzvah but I think it's a good idea to tie those memories together.

Yes. There are many of these opportunities, it just depends on what your kid is interested in. Is it double dipping? Yes. Is that okay? Yes. The point of these projects and SSL hours is to give back to the community. You're giving back!
