has anyone gotten their DC refund yet?

I've filed early and am hopeful for a quick refund.

Tax refund? You're doing it wrong. Why are you lending the government money? I'll be sending in my usual $500-$1,000 in April, thank you.

Geez, neither DH nor I even have our w2s yet.

Our SS# have been compromised so may times and with one attampt for file for us, we file as early as possible. Yes, we have the additional Pin, but I don’t trust that fully either.

I'm not sure they've started processing returns yet. I efiled this week and have yet to get an email telling me that my return was accepted.

You won't get it until the middle of February at the earliest. Most people haven't even gotten all of their tax forms yet.

I agree! I end up owing each year federal and get a small state refund. I wait until the 15th to send my money in. With the way the market is going no way am I losing out on 3.5 months of growth!

My W2 was available online so I went ahead and filed the same day. The potential for refund fraud is not worth whatever nominal interest I'd be missing out on.

Does DC gov still mail out refund checks with your full ss # printed on them?

I am still waiting for mine. It has been over three weeks. Curious if anyone has gotten theirs.

If it's been 3+ weeks I'd go ahead and file an inquiry with OTR
